We popped back up to Mairangi Bay yesterday afternoon as Stella's Granny and Grandpa were there. She happily ate both her afternoon tea and dinner out on the deck and went for a journey in the backpack in between. Still a little uncertain about the backpack but nothing a good suck on her dummy (usually reserved for a sleep time treat!) to calm the nerves. She seemed to quite enjoy herself in the end. She then happily played with a pot lid (just like her Dad used to Granny said) while we enjoyed Chinese takeaways. The sea breeze was a lovely change from the stifling heat that has been causing Stella to get quite itchy and unhappy.
