Today we visited Starship for Stella's kidney follow up, we took her into the kids playroom and were so impressed by the set up there, she fell in love with a life size toy tiger, perfect for pulling herself up onto her knees then to standing. We can take her off her low dose antibiotic at 12 months and she'll have a follow up scan at 18 months which will hopefully show that her kidneys are developing well. Once she's off the meds, we'll need to closely monitor any high temperatures she has as this can indicate an infection. Now, to the theme of this post... Stella has been watching us go through the stair gate and is obviously figuring out the part we press to open it, she's a genius! Its pretty cute when you go down the stairs and she follows you and shakes the gate until you come back into sight.
