Stella's Granny & Grandpa returned home after 5 weeks in Europe so we paid them a visit last weekend. Stella showed off her walking skills, she was very much still walking the furniture when they last saw her. They gave her a beautiful doll from Slovenia, who has been named Ivanka. Stella seems to know she is precious and treats her much more carefully than her other toys.
The next two show Stella indulging her favourite past time, searching through Nana's handbag. If it is within reach she will drag it over to Nana to be opened, pulls out all sorts of things then opens Nana's wallet and examines the contents. She noticed a picture of us 'kids' the other day and pointed out Mark, not sure if she recognised me as I had long dark hair in that one.
Photographs are now very interesting to Stella, she flicks through her album a few times a day, pointing us all out and admiring herself as a baby (usually with the album the right way up!)
