A few random photos showing the fun Stella has been having recently... She loves playing 'hosing' and running through the water, lots of giggles and silliness.
She also fits in some outdoor cricket with her late Great Grandpa Bob's ball and mini cricket bat.
Aunty Linda lent us the dominoes - Stella gets a bit confused sometimes and calls them buffaloes. They are great for keeping her busy at the table after a meal. The other morning I was fossicking around in the pantry for a bit and when I looked up, this is what she had created all on her own!
Reading is back on the list of favourite things to do, she sometimes gets a book for herself and a book for whoever is looking after her and reads alone - so grown up. Her attention span for being read to is increasing and we often get through a whole book or two, there are a few she knows off by heart and she is starting to say the words she knows as she looks at each page.
Finally a pic of her on the bike with Minnie Mouse. She has been a bit under the weather this week but we knew things were looking up when she insisted on taking Minnie out onto the deck for a ride.
And last but not least... in the lift in the mall today she sang me and Nana the entire alphabet song all on her own! Her other fave songs are Baa Baa Black Sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star which are often combined into a medley of sorts.
