Christmas Day Part 1

Christmas Day began at Mairangi Bay for me, Celeste and Nana and at home for Mark and Stella. Stella wasn't too keen on sleeping in a different bed on Christmas Eve so they had to make a swift trip home to bed in order for everyone to get some sleep. She eventually got the hang of the bed so before the holiday ended Mark and I snuck home and dismantled the cot. We rearranged her room and made a big deal of moving her "Mairangi Bay bed" home which has so far worked a treat.

Back to Christmas... there were many present openings throughout the day. Here are some shots of Stella enjoying the present opening and appreciation, patting the rabbit jelly and Celeste having cuddles with Liz.

Stella did get a little beside herself by the end of the afternoon so I took her for a long drive and she slept for over an hour. This refreshed her enough to enjoy a visit from Granny, Grandpa and Uncle Bryan and then for Poppa's long awaited arrival all the way from America.
